Russ Lester is co-owner of Dixon Ridge Farms and a fourth generation California farmer.  Russ began farming organically in 1989 and has helped shape many organic farming concepts and practices for orchards.  An advocate for farmland protection, Russ serves on the Board of Directors for Solano Land Trust and the Solano County Agricultural Advisory Board. He has been a featured speaker at national conferences on farmland protection and organic agriculture.  In addition, Russ is past president of the Winters Joint Unified School District . He is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and the California Agricultural Leadership Program.

Cliff Kent is the Farm and Production Manager at Dixon Ridge Farms.  Cliff has worked for the company for over 20 years and is involved in every step of the farming process.  He is a die-hard Yankees fan and is rarely seen without his well-worn Yankees jacket.  Cliff lives in Winters, CA with his wife; they have two adult children. 

Jenny Lester Moffitt is Managing Director at Dixon Ridge Farms, handling sales, marketing and business administration.  Since graduating from Brown University with a degree in economics, she has worked to preserve farmland as land projects coordinator, policy manager, and research specialist with American Farmland Trust.  Jenny serves on the Yolo Ag. Futures Alliance.

Family Partners

Kathy Lester is a mother of five and teacher to many.  A 1977 graduate of University of California at Davis, she has raised both children and walnuts at Dixon Ridge Farms for over 30 years.  Kathy is an experienced educator and kindergarten teacher in Winters, CA and has been recognized for her work in the community.  In addition, Kathy is a graduate student and champion of education.

Sarah Lester Guzman is a high school Spanish teacherin Seaside, CA.  Sarah holds an Undergraduate Degree from St. Lawrence University in New York and a graduate degree form San Jose State University.  She is married and has one son.

Christine Lester is a middle school history and English teacher at the Wilson Prep Academy Charter School in Oakland, CA.  A recent graduate of Teacher's College, Columbia University in New York City, Christine also holds a degree in Education from Mills College.

Amy Lester grew up on the family farm in Winters, CA.  She loves scooting around and laughing.

Summer Lester is a student in Davis, CA.  She rides horses and takes care of the family dogs.
